Rachel is an environmental engineering graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has been doing research on phosphorus at Green Lake for the past three years. Rachel also holds a masters degree in Water Resources Management from UW-Madison, and is a previous Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellow in Water Resources. When she's not working on water quality issues, Rachel enjoys all water-related activities, including swimming, sailing, and canoeing.
Cory McDonald is an assistant professor of Environmental Engineering at Michigan Technological University. His expertise is in the areas of limnology, aquatic-terrestrial connectivity, nutrient biogeochemistry, carbon cycling and ecosystem metabolism, and water quality modeling. He holds a PhD and MS in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University, a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
