What secret skill(s) do you possess that you don't often use for your work with the GLA?

I love playing sand volleyball competitively. I have been playing since 2012​

Where's your favorite view around the Lake? 

Some of my greatest memories have taken place in Norwegian Bay, enjoying the same sand bar I enjoyed growing up, now with my two daughters by my side.​

Why do you care about protecting Big Green? 

Green Lake has been a cornerstone of my upbringing, from learning the ins and outs of fishing while “pounding piers” with my dad, taking in the beauty of a sunset lake cruise, or even getting unexpected boating lessons when the weather turned (keep that bow up, ride the wave!).

Sharing my love and respect for Big Green and our natural watersheds has been a personal mission, not just with my daughters, but with friends and family alike. While I can never fully repay Big Green for the lessons it’s taught me, I hope to leave a lasting, positive impact on its future.
