WHAT WE DO
To safeguard Green Lake by improving its water quality, protecting it from critical threats, and accelerating its return to a clean lake.

A healthy, resilient watershed that sustains a clean, restored Green Lake.
PROJECT:
CLEAN STREAMS
A network of over 140 miles of stream flows into Big Green Lake. Of that, over 56,000 feet of its banks are eroded and actively polluting the lake. That's why we're restoring streams and wetlands.
PROJECT:
GREEN ACRES
Since over 60% of the Green Lake drainage area is agricultural land, we need to vamp up our efforts to make sure that every drop of water flowing off every farm is as clean as possible.
PROJECT:
INVADER DEFENSE
It has become more important than ever before to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species. We remove thousands of pounds of carp year, and staff boat launches, so you can help do your part to keep Green Lake clean.

“The waters of Green Lake shape our identity. They tie us to past generations,
and generations yet to come.”
