A fiery sunset over Silver Creek Estuary.

 

Why do you care about protecting Big Green? 

For as long as I can remember, I've felt a sense of joy and peace near bodies of water. From feeding ducks at a nearby pond when I was little to reveling in the expanse and power of Lake Michigan growing up, to now cherishing the beauty of Big Green Lake as an adult, I feel connected and protective of our waters. 

 

Green Lake is a gift to our community. It is our responsibility as caretakers of the area to protect it, so future generations can experience it too.
