Our annual Conservation Field Day is being held at Boerson Farm on Saturday, August 19. Topics will include: grazing and silvopasture (integrating trees with grazing), pasture soil pit, no-till & year-round vegetable production, Conservation Easements, and pollinating cover crops and prairie strips.

About the Event

Our annual Conservation Field Day is being held at Boerson Farm on Saturday, August 19.

Topics will include: grazing and silvopasture (integrating trees with grazing), pasture soil pit, no-till and year-round vegetable production, Conservation Easements, and pollinating cover crops and prairie strips. 

This year’s lunch will be specially crafted by Chef Dan Solberg using beef and vegetables all from the Boerson Farm to exemplify how individuals can support conservation through food. RSVP is required so we can get a proper headcount ahead of the event.
