Join the Green Team on our annual nighttime paddle through the County K Estuary. Paddling by moonlight is a uniquely beautiful and exhilarating experience. Listen to the diverse sounds of nature at nighttime and let a nearly full moon be your guide.
Bring your canoe or kayak and wind your way through the estuary with us! We will start and end the paddle at the peninsula of land on the south side of the County K estuary. It is located between Dodge Memorial County Park and the bridge.
This event is weather dependent. Please check back for the latest updates. **PLEASE NOTE:
Bring your kayaks/canoes, equipment, life vests and drinks. Glow-Sticks will be provided at the event so the group can safely maneuver the estuary without ruining their night vision. A flashlight is recommended for getting out of the water and loading in the darkness. GEAR TO BRING:
Parking and launch point is on the little peninsula on the south side of Highway K- east of the estuary bridge and west of the parking area for the Dodge Memorial Park boat launch. PARKING AND LAUNCH SITE:
