Join us for Salt Awareness Week, taking place from January 22-26, as we work towards promoting smart salting practices in the Green Lake Watershed. The GLA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to become Salt Smart Ambassadors and join us on Friday, January 26, from 1:00-2:00 PM in Ripon, WI.

About the Event
What We'll Be Doing:
We'll be canvassing businesses in Ripon to raise awareness about smart salting practices and encourage them to take steps to minimize their salt use. We'll provide you with informational flyers and salting mugs (perfect for your salt bucket) to distribute.
New to Canvassing? No Problem!
Don't worry if you've never canvassed before—we've got you covered! We'll provide talking points to guide you at every step, and we'll organize volunteers into groups, so no one has to walk in alone. Weather permitting, we'll even write key messages on the sidewalks with chalk!
